Creating contact labels (also known as contact lists) in Shared Contacts for Gmail™ allows labels to sync instantly across the dashboard, Google Contacts, and mobile devices. The system is designed for immediate synchronization to ensure teams always have access to the most current contact information.

Easily create a new label by following these steps:

Then, click Save
Collaborators can include individual contacts or entire groups. It is also possible to share labels with users outside your domain, including personal Gmail accounts.
The permission level set at this stage will apply to all collaborators. Permissions can be modified at any time.

Find the newly created contact list. Then, click the yellow circle with a plus sign. 
You can either add existing contacts from your current contacts or create new contacts.
Mark the contacts you want to include in the newly created label by checking the corresponding boxes. Then, click ‘Add these contacts to this contact list’
Be sure to click “Save” to confirm the changes.

Ensuring the collaborator has accepted the invitation to access the app.
If the issue persists, try the following:
•Log out of all Google accounts from the browser.
•Clear cookies and cache.
•Log back into the correct account and accept the invitation.
Sharing with secondary domain users works the same way as sharing with users from the primary domain. Simply click the “Share” button and enter the email address of the user you want to share the label with.
Yes. You can control permission levels (View Only, Can Edit, Can Delete, Manage, or Can Reshare) for each collaborator when sharing the label or by editing permissions later. Learn more about it in this article.

There are several ways to automatically add contacts from other apps to a label in Shared Contacts for Gmail™:Google Contacts Native Integration: If contacts are created or updated in Google Contacts, and the corresponding label is shared through Shared Contacts for Gmail™, those contacts will automatically sync to the label and be shared with collaborators.
Zapier Integration: Use Zapier to connect apps like Google Sheets, Jotform, CRMs, or other tools. Contacts collected in those apps can be sent directly to a label automatically.
Developer API: For custom workflows, developers can use the Shared Contacts for Gmail™ API to programmatically create, update, or assign contacts to specific labels from other systems or applications.
