Clustered Spires Quilt Guild is a volunteer non-profit art guild specializing in quilting since 2001. Their members include beginners through experts, all sharing a passion for quilts and quilting in their local community.
They have provided quilts and other sewn craft items for charitable organizations. The guild also sponsors seminars, exhibitions, workshops, and other community service projects.
CSQG recently began their Google Workspace subscription. They were happy with the software but felt they could enjoy it better with a contact-sharing service. The lack of an up-to-date and easily accessible member contact list hinders committee chairs from sharing information promptly.
Consequently, it took them some time to organize meetings, send event notifications, and disseminate other internal communications to everyone in the guild. This can lead to missed volunteer opportunities, low event participation, and other overlooked chances for engagement.
Each event is managed by different committee chairs, with unique sets of volunteers and participants. As a result, they need to quickly create labels based on the confirmed availability of guild members. A simple and intuitive user interface is preferred for this task to lessen their frustration. Additionally, these newly created labels must be immediately shared with event coordinators to ensure timely communication.
The guild discovered Shared Contacts for Gmail, which immediately met their contact-sharing needs. Now, they can easily create and share labels directly from the familiar Google Contacts interface or through the app's user-friendly platform.
Share contact lists and Google Contacts labels with your team, who will instantly see the shared contacts in their dashboard, in Google Contacts, their mobile devices and other third-party apps.
Editors can see, create or update the shared contacts directly from Google Contacts or from their Shared Contacts dashboard.
Schools, non-profit organizations, and non-governmental organizations are eligible for special discount rates.
Now, they can communicate easily across their guild, set up timely meetings, or disseminate information promptly.
We have about ten users who have active accounts and find the ability to share contacts very helpful easily. We have about 95 members who now receive timely communications from multiple committee chairs and our President.
It’s your lucky day. You can try Shared Contacts for Gmail for free, with no additional commitments. Simply start a free 15-day trial, install the app, and see for yourself.
